I made this shirt last night and I figured I should take a couple pictures considering I drew some LP artwork on it. I bought some fabric crayons from Wal-mart and drew each design on a white sheet of paper. From there I simply just ironed it onto the shirt. Unfortunately, the LP on my shirt is backwards, considering I had to iron the image ontop. I don't mind I love it anyway! Enjoy! 1 2 3 4 5
Thanks so much, you wouldn't imagine how difficult Jack is to sketch in black crayon! lol Mattt, it's the 3-D looking blue blocks from the inside of the Meteora booklet. If you browse through it, you'll know what I mean.
I'm so happy Jack's getting great reviews, lol. I'm proud of the 4th shot. Neil believes the face is identical to the one made in the Meteora booklet.
You stole my idea! Or maybe you're just telepathic... :chemist: I like Jack and the 3D blocks the best.
they dont come off when you wash them do they? coz i wanna do that on a shirt with this on it. its gonna be cute.
Ugg, I hate to tell you this but I had an incident with this shirt a few nights ago. There was some dirt on the back, me and Neil were wrestling with each other on the floor. I forgot to throw it in the wash, so I gave it to my mom and told her to be careful. The directions for these crayons say warm water, but my mom used cold. All my pictures came out. I nearly cried because I put so much effort into it. My mom told me if the shirt couldn't make it through cold water, it didn't stand a chance getting scorched in warm water. She suggested I color my old drawings and iron them again, but I don't feel motivated to. I made a Monsters Inc. inspired tee Wednesday night. There's dirt on that too, so I'm assuming Lil' Mikey will be no more. It blows. But there's always fabric markers *shrugs* I was really excited because I wanted to take another tee and iron the "Work In Progress" bit from the Meteora booklet onto the back... I suppose I'll try washing the tee in warm water, but I'll get back to you.
aww, that sucks. the shirt paint bottle thingys dont come off but if you dont do them right they come out gloopy ((if thats a word)) and stiff.
lpmaxrevolution - Agg :\ I know. You'd never know there were drawings on my tee, if you looked at it now. There's faint imprints of the images, but that's as good as it gets. If I could suggest anything to you Pyro, it would be to try fabric markers. Find a really good set, not just the pack with a pair in a shade of fluorescent. Wal-Mart would be your best bet. The fabric paint is completely useless. It just gloops and chips away over time. Good luck!!
