I was listening to "Eternal" by P.O.D. (awesome track) and thought it'd be cool if we give a lowdown on our favorite instrumental songs because I think there needs to be more of those around. P.O.D. - Eternal - My favorite instrumental song ever and one of my favorites on the new P.O.D. album. A Perfect Circle - Wake the Dead - This song has flutes, violins and other string instruments in it. Sounds Celtic, haunting and really beautiful. Nightwish - Moondance - Moondance is the only instrumental track on the album Oceanborn by Finnish metallers Nightwish. It sounds like something right out of Lord of the Rings so if you like fast-paced, epic-like songs, you'll like this one. Linkin Park - Session - My second LP instrumental. Reminds me of the soundtrack for The Mummy. :wth: Linkin Park - Cure For The Itch - This used to be my favorite but now I'm not liking it as much. It's still awesome though and shows off Joe's scratching and DJ skills pretty well. Linkin Park - Secret - My favorite LP instrumental track is hidden on the Hybrid Theory EP. Blink 182 - The Fallen Interlude - Not one of the best IMO but still a good listen.
Wat about Intro & Outro by limp bizkit I meen there not proper instrumentals but their still good & cheesy
Best Instrumental Ever: Liquid Tension Experiment - Biaxident (a piano intro; fuses jazz, progressive rock, with touches of metal. Petrucci's most creative soloing, as well as stunning jazz piano solos by Rudess that must be nearly impossible to play. Levin shows his mastery here to on the bass) LTE - Hourglass LTE - Paradigm Shift (craziest opening to a song ever!) Opeth - Ending Credits Dream Theater - Stream of Consciousness (probably my fav. DT instrumental) Dream Theater - Erotomania (up there with SOC, has Petrucci's CRAZIEST solos~!) Focus - Hocus Pocus (amazing instrumental, a hit in US too, by unknown 70s Dutch prog band!)
A.06....IMO it is a instrumental...it's only 40-50 seconds long with 2 guitars and bass...and scratching..e.verything but vocals..oh well, if its not really an instrumental then I dont like them...
In Flames - Man Made God Evanescence - Silver Rain Fell, Night Tide, Dreamspace Odd Project - Midnight Lullaby
Hmmmmmm... Metallica: Orion Linkin Park: Session Linkin Park: Cure for the itch Linkin Park: Kyure 4...whatever it is Rob Dougan: Clubbed2death Rob Dougan: Chateau <-- I reckon that's the best one [somethingfromblackandwhite]: Intro <--- Short and sweet SomeotherguyfromtheMatrix: Why, Mr. Anderson <-- Very dramatic I actually prefer instrumentals to normal songs
What album are those Evanescence songs on??! [/b][/quote] They aren't Evanescence songs. The only official instrumentals by the band are Eternal, Demise (which is in Eternal), Ascension of the Spirit, Listen to the Rain (sort-of intrumental. It has a choir in it), and the instrumental version of Going Under.
It's impossible to find on Kazaa. Basically, on the Hybrid Theory EP, Part of Me is 16 minutes long. 3 minutes of Part of Me, 10-11 minutes of silence, then 2-3 minutes of Ambient, an instrumental.
