So here I am looking for a change from Gimp. I've come across all versions of Photoshop, Illustrator and Fireworks, and I'm wondering what's the best/what do you use?
Of course, it depends on what you're doing with the programs. I tend to use Photoshop though. It has the most magic algorithms in it. GIMP I like but the UI is so different than Photoshop that switching between irritates me too much.
GIMP confuses me so much that it makes me want to throw my computer out of the window, and smash it into a gajillion pieces. I prefer the Photoshop CS series.
