I've came across a few and have used a few in the past, but what do you recommend as the best freeware video conversion program? I'm looking to convert MP4 > DVD. I'm using Windows too. Thanks for any help.

    I would recommend you SUPER.
It's an all in one converter. You can convert nearly everything into everything with just one program.

Hmm, yeah, thanks for the suggestions guys. I came across a really simple and easy to use DVD burning freeware program called DVDFilck which seemed to have done what I wanted. SUPER seems like a great conversion program too, but for burning DVD's, DVDFlick seemed like the best user friendly option.

Yeah I know, I already had a burning program which I thought would work but it became a major pain in the ass trying to burn a VOB file to disk and have it play on a stand alone DVD player, so in the end I opted for a program that did both and it worked fine. Just thought I'd let people know what I found the most simple and best to use in case someone else has the same problem.
