Great list! and I'm also looking foward to all them, September/October has a lot of good music coming out and the second half of the year EDIT (not related but don't want to double post): Just listened to the El-P album, I was just blown away. Best album of the year so far easily beating out Life is Good by Nas. Such a great album, one of the best albums I've heard in the past couple years. Amazing! If your a rap fan and haven't heard it, check it out now! Even if your not a big rap fan you should give it a shot as well

IMO every artist that I like made their weakest (or just "meh") album this year: Muse Ellie Goulding Keane The Offspring The Xx Flyleaf Stone Sour Papa Roach *LP is the exception. Living Things was pretty good. There were some good songs, but not albums full of killer tracks that blew my mind. Hopefully the next year will be better.
Aeon- Aeon's Black High on Fire- De Vermis Mysrtiis Lamb of God- Resolution Lp- living things Kreator- Phantom Antichrist Muse- The 2nd law Trent Reznor- girl with the dragon tattoo soundtrack (that was this year right? ) That's all I really payed attention too this year. There were others I meant to check out but didn't get to it.

Albums: Green Day - Trilogy: Uno, Dos, Tre. The xx - Coexist. Muse - The 2nd Law. Imagine Dragons - Night Visions. deadmau5 - >album title goes here< Example - The Evolution Of Man. EP's: Blink-182 - Dogs Eating Dogs. Dillon Francis - Something, Something, Awesome. Monsta - Monsta EP. Foreign Beggars - Uprising. Kill The Noise - Black Magic. Anticipated Albums Of 2013: Hollywood Undead - Notes From The Underground. Depeche Mode - TBD. Arcade Fire - TBD. and of course: The Prodigy - How To Steal A Jetfighter. All of these are in my opinion, and these are all I can think of at this moment.
Muse - The 2nd Law Linkin Park - Living Things Green Day - Trilogy Taproot - The Episodes Papa Roach - The Connection Deftones - Koi No Yokan Anticipated Albums Of 2013: EarlyRise - TBD. Skylar Grey - Invisible
A quick list of my favourites from 2012: Big Boi: "Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours" Deadmau5: "Album Title Goes Here" Deftones: "Koi No Yokan" Ellie Goulding: "Halcyon" Linkin Park: "Living Things" Twin Shadow: "Confess" Various Artists: "The Man With The Iron Fists" (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) An honourable mention goes to GOOD Music's "Cruel Summer"; although I still enjoy the album immensely, I'm of the opinion that it fell way short of its potential. The only 2013 album I'm anticipating at the moment is A$AP Rocky's "LongLiveA$AP"
1. Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE 2. Japandroids - Celebration Rock 3. Grimes - Visions 4. Swans - The Seer 5. Deftones - Koi No Yokan 6. Converge - All We Love We Leave Behind 7. The Men - Open Your Heart Honorable Mentions: Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles (III) Chromatics - Kill for Love Dirty Projectors - Swing Lo Magellan Every Time I Die - Ex Lives Gallows - Gallows Holy Other - Held Nas - Life is Good Narrows - Painted Sharon Van Etten - Tramp Various Artists - Hotline Miami Soundtrack As always, there were a lot of albums I either never got a chance to listen to at all or didn't get to listen to enough. High on Fire, Big Boi, Pig Destroyer, Killer Mike, Metz, Flying Lotus, Jessie Ware -- plenty of potentially great albums I'll probably be kicking myself for not digging into earlier.
Making a top 5, since most of the records I've listened to in 2012 were made before 2012 I could have made a top 10, but some records wouldn't have deserved a place in there, so yep... 1. Deftones - Koi No Yokan 2. Linkin Park - Living Things 3. High On Fire - De Vermis Mysteriis 4. Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles III 5. Crypts -Crypts If I had discovered the record Red Night by The Hundred In The Hands earlier, it would more than probably be in the list. It's so freaking good!
