When do people think the beginning of the album hype cycle will start for LP6? It seems, given the interviews with the band members in the last month that we're still quite a ways out, even though it's 18 months since LT. I'm personally hoping for some real news starting late jan/early feb but I think that's just being hopeful and optimistic. What say you?
I expect to see a single drop sometime in late spring to early summer, with a album releasing around august.
I'm not expecting much, in terms of quality or whether or not it comes out this year. Low expectations, that's how you enjoy things.
The band has been pretty quiet about The Mall Soundtrack recently. I wonder if that means anything towards when it will be released.

Are you referring to the EP mentioned for the Linkin Park ALTNC indaba competition? Because if you are, its probably likely that maybe the mystery EP could just be the first Single for LP6, and might include some live track and The ALTNC remix.
Or a really late "A Light That Never Comes" EP. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that happens.
I think that a single from LP6 will drop probably around March or April then album will be released late May.
I can see the same time frame as when burn it down and LT released. Album in late summer but the single info coming around April/may/June
