    Im listening to Pet Sounds for the first time (first Beach Boys album listen), and its AMAZING. What does everyone else think of this band?

    I've only ever actually listened to Pet Sounds as far as whole albums go but yeah, I agree. Vocal harmonies ftw.

    Excellent band. Pet Sounds influenced many of today's modern bands I'd like to think.

    I liked them better when they had that sweet ol' guy named Charlie writing songs for them.

    I only ever heard Pet Sounds and Surfin' USA (just the song), but yes, you just have to appreciate what they achieved so early on in pop music or even rock music.
