Matchbook Romance, pre-Voices. I hated that album and it's pretty obvious the poor sales from it are why they broke up.
Strictly bands that have the members still alive to do this: Midtown Acceptance Blink-182 Autopilot Off At the Drive-In
Thank you! Corgan wrote all the lyrics and James wrote the music. D'arcy was a prop in the background with the worst bass notes ever but somehow they were all meant to be together.
no no no Mars Volta > ATDI (> Sparta) in MY opinion AND Metallica didn't go bad when Newstead or Mustaine left (in my opinion they got better when Mustaine left), they went bad when Cliff died. Also in MY opinion.
Blink 182, just to see how Tom would act. Box Car Racer Fugazi, I'd love to see them live right now. Hot Water Music, they're touring, but record an album, I mean. The Distillers The Early November The Ergs! A Flock Of Seagulls Seriously. The Format From First To Last with Sonny Jawbreaker The Postal Service Texas Is the Reason but really writing an album not just one show like they did.
It really sucks, they're a fun band, I was just getting into them and I really want to see them live. Not that they'd ever come over here, though.
The only song of theirs I can think of is Rod Argent, or at leas that's what I think it's called, it's amazing though.
