I think Coheed get a little too much praise from their fans sometimes, but they're okay. I can't stand Lady Gaga, mostly because of her fans - the most pretentious people in the world.
Guns and Roses- Axl's voice just makes me want to strangle him Most generic "club" music- They have a tendency to only be tolerable if you are mindlessly dancing to them opposed to actively listening to them. And the lyrics tend to be trite shite. Lady Gaga- the issue here is that I actually like a lot of her music and think as far as pop goes it is quite unique. She even comes off as rather charismatic on the album. But outside of that she just seems to do a tonne of stupid shit which lacks and real concrete meaning but is somehow supposed to be immune from criticism as she is "out there and expressing herself". And some how it seems that calling her slutty is far less acceptable than calling Brittany Spears slutty. I don't generally like the term but I think people are kidding themselves if they think the sexuality Lady Gaga tries to exploit has more artistic merit. She's just uglier.
Kings of leon. I don't know if I'm missing something or just not getting it but since I heard Molly's chambers a few years ago I've just not liked them!
Linkin Park How dare they mature into adulthood and record an album totally devoid of material suitable for channeling teenage angst! Those dirty sellouts!
Tongue-in-cheek post, FYI Although, from my perspective it seems like most of the ATS haters [attempt to] justify their animosity by contending that "there's no instruments" and "the sound bores me" and other nonsense. Basically, poor arguments that no intelligent and independently thinking person would take seriously. Amazon reviewers have some of the most appalling and circular logic I've ever seen in my time on the Internet. Back on topic, I can't think of a single artist I dislike that isn't attached to some sweeping generalization or irrational logic, except BrokenCYDE. Fuck those guys.
^ Yep. I'm afraid I'll have to be generic here and have no original answers because Lady Gaga, Nickelback, Disneyn00bs, FOB, KOL, and the like have all been mentioned.
I saw them open for Motley Crue back in 2008 and they had the second hardest rocking performance of the show. When did you see them?
