Have you ever heard a full album, and thought the first single from it was a terrible idea to release it from the album? You're left thinking; "there were so many better songs than this, what the hell?". It happens alot. List the band, first single only, and album name. Cold - "Stupid Girl" - 'Year of the Spider' Linkin Park - "Pts.of.Athrty" - 'Reanimation' Linkin Park - "Somewhere I Belong" - 'Meteora' Pillar - "Bring Me Down" - 'Where Do We Go From Here?' Three Days Grace - "(I Hate) Everything About You" - 'Three Days Grace'
Rammstein's first (US) single off of Reise Reise, Amerika. To my knowledge, the real first single, Mein Teil, didn't get any airtime when it first came out. It only got video plays on MTV2 after the video for Amerika came out. But even then, Mein Teil is an average song at best, and the quality of the song goes waaay down after you learn the meaning behind the lyrics.
all the lead singles off all of eminems albums included the d12 world album. all the same type of trl garbage. real slim shady.. without me.. just lose it.. my band.. all disgusting tracks that are worse than just about every track on the rest of their albums..
I also have to agree with Somewhere I Belong on Meteora. It's so different than any other song on the CD, that it was almost a misleading advertisement for all of the CD. Especially considering that horrible chorus.
Pillar- "Bring Me Down"- 'Where Do We Go From Here' Hoobastank- "Runing Away"- 'Self-titled' Papa Roach- "Loves Me Not"- 'Love Hate Tragedy' Cold- "Stupid Girl"- 'Year of the Spider' Eminem- "Without Me"- 'The Eminem Show Korn- "Right Now"- 'Take A Look in the Mirror' Black Eyed Peas- "Where's the Love"- 'Elephunk'
The first single from the self-titled CD was "Crawling In The Dark". <!--QuoteBegin--Derek@Dec 18 2004, 10:45 PM I also have to agree with Somewhere I Belong on Meteora. Trapt- "Headstrong"- 'Self Titled' OMFG, that song made me wanna puke, and until I heard Still Frame, I loathed Trapt. AFI- "Girls Not Grey"- 'Sing the Sorrow' It's not a bad song, but when I first saw the video in particular, I didn't like it, and once I got the album I realized that it was in fact the worst song on the CD. It's a good song by all means, but any other song would have been a better lead-off single in my opinion.
It wasn't? Oopsie. What was, then?
'Out of control' But I'm not sure since I don't listen to Hoobastank.
'Out of control' But I'm not sure since I don't listen to Hoobastank.
If it was ... they made a good choice. I love that song!
Stories & Comets - Chalk Outlines - Time To Write You Out I dont think many people heard this song, as they only ever played in the UK before they sadly split up. But this is deffinantly a weak song. A strong song to have released would have been either 'Hang Yourself' or 'A Pox, A Plague, A Poison', although they did record a live video for 'A Pox..' which I starred in , they should have released 'Hang Yourself'
Limp Bizkit-Behind Blue Eyes from 'Results May Vary' There are so much better songs on that album they could of released
I love that song so much "Get the Party Started" off of Pink's second album sucked, IMO, but I think a lot of the album was good (especially "Numb" and "Just Like A Pill"). That's all I can think of right now. edit: I got another one. "Know Your Rights" by the Clash, off of Combat Rock wasn't that good. I can't remember if it was the first single though.
Out of Control was the first single! Breaking Benjamin - So Cold - We Are Not Alone Nickelback - Someday - The Long Road 3 Doors Down - When I'm Gone - Away from the Sun
