When I bought the enhanced Meteora cd, in the back 40-page booklet, I noticed that the backing vocals on Meteora were Rob, Brad, Joe, and Phoenix. Does anyone know which songs Rob, Brad, Joe, and Phoenix were singing in? (I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question)
They don't really do backing vocals, just harmonies. But they do them on all the songs. And, to the best of my knowledge, harmonies are just the guys, like, humming along or something like that. Not really singing.
No, there's no humming in Meteora, Will. Harmonies are simply singing along with someone but in a different key. One example would be the chorus of "Don't Stay." You can hear someone saying "Forget our memories, forget our possibilities" along with Chester, which I assume is Mike singing in a different key making it sound cool.

[/b][/quote] Mike sings on Meteora despite a confusing interview that sort of said otherwise(it said that Chester and Mike switch places live and that chester's voice is doubled on record). He sings the first part of the chorus "Don't Stay" (it's mike, listen to the voice..u can tell), he sings with chester in the beginning of the 1st verse of SIB("When this began"), he sings along at the end of faint, and sings backup behind the words "Nobody's Listening" in you guessed it, Nobody's Listening, lmfao. Chester also raps along with Mike, as evidenced by the bridge in Lying From You and the "JUST BEFORE YOU HIT THE FLOOR!" in the hit the floor chorus. I could list a few more if it was needed, but this post was merely to point out that Chester does indeed rap and Mike does indeed sing on Meteora. As for the other members they probably do backup shouts, like the "I WANNNA HEALL!" after the bridge of SIB, and the rapped parts of the hit the floor chorus. They wouldn't list them under backup if they didnt do backup on the record guys .
