I finally have my MacBook Pro and I'm absolutly loving it, the one problem I seem to be having however is that I can't seem to get Azureus to work. I am pretty sure it installs, but after that I get lost. I open the program, and the icon appears on the dock and bounces for about a second, and then disappears. I have absolutly no clue as to why it won't work, not to metion his is my third day using Mac OS X. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Depends on how hard you're pushing your computer. I've left my MacBook Pro on for hours on end and I haven't really seen the heat level to be anything to burn, but it can be uncomfortable. All laptops heat up, and I would't say the heat level on my MacBook Pro is any different than any other laptop I have ever used. Overheating occurs if you have it on a soft surface or the air isn't circulating properly. Using it on your lap or a couch or bed or something lowers the ability for air to circulate properly. That's why they tell you it's best to use it on a hard surface. And yes, I am a lucky bastard!
I keep my PowerBook on a book, specifically on a Ultimate Spider-Man guide book. How many Mac owners do we have here on this site?
I put mine on a table, or just find something ard to put on my lap. As far as I know of, you, Todd, Brandon, and I are the only ones.
