Avatar Size

    I was wondering if you could increase the max avatar size to 100x100 instead of 90x90. Im sure other members would benefit from this too. :)

    I've seen 150x150 ones on other forums and they look great. Might as well use the huge chunk of space left in the avatar section.

    You probably can but ask an Admin just to make sure. You can always reduce the size to 90 by 90.

    90x90 is an awkward size so 100x100 might be decent, but I think we dont have 150 because images that are too big could probably slow down a users' connection/computer. We already almost outlawed animated signatures because it was killing people's computers.

    Either way, I'll run this thread by the staff.

    Question:

    Why would 150x150 avatars cause too much of a load. Most of the sigs here are so much larger than that. Seems to me the load time would be insignificant there, but maybe I'm wrong.

    100x100 would be great. Most pre-made forum avatars are that size, plus it's a much more rounded number.

    Remember that if you upload the files and they'e two times bigger, they eventually become problematic.

    I've been thinking about this for a while actualy. I would love to see the size extended to 100x100. So much more rounded lol and most avatars come in those sizes :)
