There are heaps of Australia bands out there that no one has heard of. There are also the few that are well known such as Jet, The Vines, and Silverchair. I love aussie bands (does that surprise you? ) and you guys would to if you had heard them! This is a list of Australian bands that I have heard of. being an aussie myself i have heard of most of those bands. not all of them though,have to go check them out. personally i really like something for kate, grinspoon, 28 days and the cat empire. Aussie bands rule!

What other Grinspoon songs have you heard? There are some really good songs, some of them aren't as good as the others. My favourites are "Champion," "Don't Change," "More Than You Are," "Lost Control," "Chemical Heart," "No Reason," and "Damn Straight"
Aussie bands are the best kept secret in the world. I love our local stuff, they have the best sound and stage presence.
