So who else is a fight fan here? Because tonight's event not only featured a promo for 'Wastelands', but also one of the biggest UFC upsets as well as one of the greatest performances in the octagon in TJ Dillashaw. Holy fuck!
Different people have different opinions. What a concept right? I'm not amazed by it, but it seems to be they always release either the very beginning or very end of songs as previews. Probably not to "spoil" anything or some similar reason, but it's just distracting to me for some reason. Not bad, but not a HOLY JESUS SHITFUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY PULLED THIS OFF either.
Oh my, that... That was something special. The opening of the snippet with Mike's rap is well put together, and oh god, the guitar riff that plays in the breaks is SO freaking Meteora/Hybrid Theory it's ridiculous, you could put that guitar straight into those albums, no problem. The drumming in this section and well, for the whole snippet is very ATS sounding, but that is not a bad thing, it's very cool. The chorus is incredible, it feels extremely EXTREMELY full, something that was lacking in GATS and UIG, which both felt pretty hollow throughout. Chester's vocals finally have some of that intensity that he is known for and was truly lacking in GATS and only briefly seen in UIG. The orchestral crashes in the chorus really seal the deal for me, this track is god damn amazing, and I've only heard 43 seconds of it. Count me in on this one, this is going to be awesome.
Instrumentation and Mike sounds dope as fuck. But Chester sounds awfully out of place. His voice is too thin/nasally here.

I'm guessing they will probably release the whole song tomorrow, it's either a full song or snippets of the whole album, never snippets of a single song.
Man I feel like want to cry listening to this. This should be their single because from the snippet I think people can listen to this on a radio. But maybe they just want to build the hype gradually by releasing these songs in this order.
