Me too. I got my Wastelands email 2 days after it was released so I'm guessing we'll get it either today or tomorrow!
I read in reviews about that song that mike also sings on it. Can someone tell me please which parts are sung by mike and which parts are sung by chester? Usually i reognize the voices but not on this song
Mike sings 95% of the song. Chester sings the first chorus and then harmonizes the rest. And screams at the bridge.
Wastelands is #59 now on iTunes. Its Billboard chances are not very good. I'm happy to see Rebellion so high up on iTunes though.
mikes got the verses, chesters got the screams during the bridge, and both play a part in the chorus. The first time the chorus is played, chester has the first line, then both sing the rest. Second time the chorus plays, both have the entire chorus. Last time the chorus plays, it's just mike with the first line, then both sing the rest. "Rebellion" is always sung with both. someone correct me if im wrong
It's strange how here, just for once, nearly nobody is bashing this song (judging from what I've red), while on YouTube there are dozens of "mimimi, Lp disappointed me so much"-comments.
Notice how the naysayers' arguments are growing weaker. Usually it's "LP is dubstep techno trash", now it's "these songs lack the passion of HT and Meteora". They're clutching at straws.
Some people are so mentally attached to HT and Meteora. Nostalgia plays a huge role. I know because I'm one of them lol. Those albums will always have a place in my heart. But theyre from so long ago I try not to compare. What LP has accomplished throughout their entire careers (1999 to 2014) is really impressive. That's how I look at it. Funny thing is ATS is my favorite LP album, anyway.
I still like Wastelands better but maybe it just needs a little time, I mean it doesn't sound much like Linkin Park, right?
My first impression it is Who sing this song it is serjey whit chester? After i said o my GAD it is mike whit chester and doren i love this song
Had to listen to it. Couldn't control. This is my favorite so far. I got legit chills from this track, especially because of Mike's singing. I also love how the screams seem like a natural addition here. The diversity of just these 4 tracks gives me high hopes. Oh, and kudos to them for hitting #1 in many countries. Makes me happy.
