i still didn't listen to the songs wastelands and rebellion but from now on i will avoid the forums. its too hard
This is going to be so hard to avoid before release. I said to myself after Wastelands I wouldn't listen to anything else, and I gave in and listened to Rebellion. I resisted the day, but that was it. I gave in.
Isn't that kind of unusual for a LP song? Specially in the USA where everyone I know in person claims they're so horrible? Fantastic to see!
the real fantastic thing is it got nearly no promotion and no radio-play linkin fan base billboard spot 1 secured
Well that's not actually surprising, since the world is very connected to the internet now. And I've seen promotion for the Hunting Party on billboards online, anyone who was remotely a LP fan on facebook has seen all their new stuff pop up on their dash. So many people use facebook, and I've seen sponsored posts for Guilty All the Same a couple months back.
It really is a shock. Maybe there songs being released is helping them, probably a smart marketing tactic.
in fact rebellion is number 1 in the world http://www.chartsinfrance.net/charts/itunes-world-titres.php
when i heard the start it i was like meh but when the guitar kicked in my heart was going the same rate the riff was going i never thought i would say this but no more songs please 4 is more than enough till the album comes out
my friend listened to Rebellion and said it reminded him of this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ychqhRHDDro At first I was like lol wut but then I was like lol I see...cool song.
Why wouldn't it hit #1? What's up against it? LP beat Maroon 5 with Living Things, and Maroon 5 had already taken over pop radio with Payphone I think.
