    Its actually pretty neat.

If anyone's ever used an Apple Pro Mouse, you'd know that there's no visible button, however, the entire casing on the top of the mouse pushes down, generating the click. What Apple did here is pretty clever. Its essentially the same idea, the entire casing pops down, but they put sensors in the mouse to detect pressure placed on it when clicking. If there's more pressure on the left side, it tells the computer its a left click. If there's more pressure on the right side, it's a right click. If the pressure is on the scroll ball thingy, then its determined to be a click of the scroller. What that allows is the 2 button functionality, but you can change it in the control panel to be a good 'ol Apple 1 button mouse-all clicks will be considered a left click regardless of where the pressure is.

Its a neat concept, and maybe some day I'll pick one up to throw in my laptop bag, but for desktop use, I'll stick with my cordless MX1000 and its 10 buttons :p

mighty mouse.. what a joke of a name.. right next to tiger and panther..
a right click mouse for a mac was 20 years overdue.. looks like mac is now officially conforming to the pc world..
but id still rather use my microsoft optical mouse over that thing..

question: does the software that comes with the mouse make the right click usable on a mac OS? that would seem dumb to me if it didnt.. making it a pc only mouse..

They made fun of this on G4. 'Seanbaby' (of EGM magazine) didnt like it so he cut the cord with a scissor much to the other hosts' horror.

He then got a vice and put the mouse inbetween it. Needless to say this little baby withstood A LOT of pressure.

Mac OS has always supported right click and if you hooked up any regular old USB 2 button mouse to any Mac OSX system since they came out in 2000 or so, the right click would do a right click action (usually bring up a menu)
