I don't know if there's any truth to this or not, but I recently came across this video: And I noticed at around 2:13...If you were to look in the top right corner of what looks like the shadow of a crater, could this have had any influence on the ATS album cover? Thoughts?
That's really interesting! The resemblance is definitely there, not sure it would have been enough to make the album cover, though. I remember reading somewhere that I think Mike said the cover was supposed to be abstract and each person is to see it differently or something. Great find though!
I was thinking that given the historical aspect in some of the lyrics, sampled speeches, artwork, documentary etc, there's at least some kind of messege behind it
interesting resemblance, it could very well have been inspiration or just complete coincidence. Pretty sure whoever did the art looked heavily at imagery during that time period though.
In my view, the cover resembles uncertainty/the unknown. That reflects the message behind the album along with the songs themselves (it's hard to say what genre ATS is). I think anything that looks like it is a coincidence.
