I'm going to be honest in the review. I need to be. If I feel it's a huge misstep for the band I'll say so, just like I'll be sure to comment if I feel it's a good experiment for the band.
That's good to hear. I'm not so much worried that you'll over hype it or only praise it, but I'm more worried of having a predetermined mindset when it comes to the songs. I don't even want to read descriptions of the songs. The less I know, the better.
I'm not reading any reviews or listening to any leaks and I can already tell this is gonna be a long 11 days lol
Well damn. Kudos to you. I'm eagerly awaiting to hear it. Don't care if I get a 128 kbps copy this time. Invisible coming out is doing that to me. Otherwise, I could probably wait.
It's so easy to make a fake album review, they're all so stupid. ''The opening track opens with a sampled sound effect of Chester moaning then goes into a crazy djent riff, Mike screams ''nobody can save me, nobody can save the world!'' as Joe scratches a sample of Dave going ''yeah'', unlike ''Heavy'', this song is quiet heavy, and is sure to leave anyone looking to bang their head against a wall to a skin melting riff pleased''. etc. But I just read it again after hearing TTM, choir singing? The live version did seem to have something that sounded like a choir, so who knows?
While I am excited for Derek's review, I will also take it with a grain of salt. He heaped praise on Until It's Gone during the last cycle.
A rare sighting of the revered Adam! My biggest regret with Linkin Park is never meeting Adam while he worked with Linkin Park.
I got to meet Adam. He's a super nice guy. Got us front row seats, everyone into the listening party, was there when we got free tickets into the Nokia center as well. Was super patient with everyone and seemed pretty down to earth. He was there for every LPU event and the Chula Vista concert in 2012. Man that was a good year for Linkin Park for me. Even got pizza during the listening party!
