What do you think? I think that it sounds only a little different than past AVA stuff but I wish it were more so. I like AVA but I'm actually getting really tired of all the songs sounding the same.

Also why do you think they are releasing it in November, while Blink are releasing theirs in September?

I would have already posted this thread if there weren't so many haters...the movie was alright, and I really like the new song. As for all the songs sounding the same I don't really see it, apart from a few on the past Love album.

Tom completely blows the donkey weiner live, like he doesn't even sing the notes right, but somehow he makes it work with the reverb, and I love all of AVA's stuff.

As for competing with Blink, I don't think its that at all. I think most of the album was already recorded, and since they're 2 seperate bands it doesn't really matter if their release dates are within a short time frame.

 

The new song sounds good, but as you mentioned Jesse, it sounds like every damn AVA song they ever made. Though, with the sound they built themselves on it's kinda hard to switch it up to something completely different.

 

Anyone gonna pre-order the Movie/Album when available?

From what I've heard of the iTunes streaming, the album is freakin good. I already pre-ordered the gold package, so I'm waiting til then. I just can't beleive this band is so overlooked, i guess it was because of Toms nonsensical rantings over the first album, but the music is so insanely good.

 

Love Part 2 is better than Part 1 and on a par with I-Empire for me. Better than Neighborhoods for me. (For whatever that's worth)

Really looking forward to getting the film.

 

I torrented this a while back, not bad. Aside from Toms really weird pronunciation of words, I've always liked AVA.

 

Well dang I'm usually the first to download an album, but I somehow had missed this until now. He does have that pronunciation thing, but I love it, nullus. Still lovin the album, One Last Thing goes pretty hard.

Tom's first guitar solo? I don't know, but that song is just beyond amazing. So much emotion!!!

 

I enjoyed the film too.

 

The presence of gravity pissed me off...but interesting film indeed.

 

Sorry for the bump, but Amazing album! One of my favorites! and my 2nd favorite album of last year (besides blink-182 album)
