I don't know about everyone else here, but I'm seeing a sickening trend of newbies getting picked off and banned everyday. I'm not saying it's an Admin's fault, or a Mod, because it's not. It's the fault of the people. I hate how everytime I come to the site I see another banned person. I remember back in what I would consider the "Glory Days" of my time here, where there was like a ban every two weeks. This was about 10 months ago. Since then, we've had an increase of like 1,000 people.

I can kind of understand why this is going down. I mean, some people just don't bother to read the rules and just do whatever the fxxk they want. There's no way to stop this, except warns and bans, but I still think we should try to do something else about it. I don't know what, but I just feel like we need to some how filter the crapheads who are gonna get blocked their third day here before they can do damage.

This is just my opinion, as this is the Feedback Forum and this is my feedback. I just feel like we need to work together to clean the site up. Heck, I can barely understand some of the posts in some of the topics, and some are just pointless. All I ask is that people use some decent English and voice opinions that matter, not "linken park freakin roxors, if u dont like em burn n hell" type stuff. Well, I'm done, and I encourage people to help to make this site an enjoyable place to read and post and interact with fellow human beings. I also encourage you to voice your opinions about the site and things on it.

I definately agree but I don't know what they can do about it. Maybe they should set something up where they have to read the rules before they sign up. Like the rules will scroll down whether they like it or not and they couldn't do anything about it. :p

Well, I guess that we, the peons of the forums, can start by trying to establish a positive atmosphere around here. I'm fully aware of the irony of this statement by the way, but the negativity needs to stop somewhere.

I just don't want teenies. I hate teenies with a passion. They are like flies except bigger and harder to smack. Teenies should be banned no matter what. (one more time?, typo EDIT)

That's the exact reason we've banned newbies constantly on these forums and there will never be another reason. The majority of the newbies we ban, shrug us off and insist on breaking the rules time after time, despite being repeatedly asked to stop by the hard-working staff of these forums.

If we finally give up on being nice and tell them that they have to start listening or else they'll get warned, they decide to totally disregard how hard we work and the like and treat us like we are a bunch of idiots. Believe me, when you work to the best of your abilities to a site that gets hundreds of thousands of visitors a day, the last think you're going to want is for some kid to come in claming your rules are "f*cking retarded".

We can't do anything about it, and I unless we can make it so there is absolutely no way they cannot read the rules, as sad as it is, I can only see this disturbing trend increasing as Breaking The Habit hits airwaves worldwide.

To Glenn: About that, yeah I guess we could make them read it, but it's like the information the setup program shows you before you install a program. If you are like most people, you just skip it.

To Cameron: I think I'm totally down with that, I mean, I try to be a nice person, but so many people are crapheads. . .it's getting harder and harder.

To Shadow|Of|a|Man: You rock, dude. There's nothing else I can say.

To Derek: I forgot about how much Breaking The Habit was gonna effect the site. It's gonna be bad times. Oh well, it'll pass in time, and like Cameron said, there's nothing we can do but try to be positive, so I guess I'll try. But I have no sympathy for the intentionally ignorant. None.

Even if we had a one time popup for the forums, people would click out and not read the rules or miss them with thier popup blockers.

From what I know, the rules are included in either the register e-mail or page. If it is, then I don't need to go any further - blatant disrespect.

If it isn't included, then hmm...I doubt it would make much difference, but we could look into it for you.
