So, let’s make final clear up of what official albums and singles & non-album songs & also live & rare songs, videos do LP have. I thought to make one more topic, where everybody will add songs & videos I’ve missed and here I’ll just edit posts, not to litter this topic. Can I do in such way, or whole this topic is unnecessary & useless? I just want to do this, because when I first time came to this forum I searched for a long time to find the right answer to my questions about official albums, and I can’t find them entirely so far. By the way, excuse me for my English, as it’s not my native language.

The group of rebels resists to forces of the law and order, Chester and Mike slowly go through crowd while the small child breaks directly in the center of all this madness, shouting in unison to Chester. Video was shot in Prague, specially for shootings the whole area and adjoining blocks has been surrounded.

"Numb"

Video is about the girl - artist. She has difficulties in her life, but she is focused on drawing. Naturally that she splashes out the negative energy in drawing, she studies to live, but eventually it drives her in a corner. All city views were shot in Prague, and because of Chesters illness groups playing in a church was shot in Los Angeles, a month after.

Date of issue: September, 1 2003

"Faint"

The group sings in front of more than thousand fans (these are members of fan club LP Undeground and their friends), powerful projectors are located on a background. During almost all clip participants of LP are ignored by the unusual contender - the camera. It shoots only from behind and is never focused on persons while Chester does not shout «I won't be ignored». Video is made in dark tones that creates an atmosphere of intensity.

Chester, falling asleep, gets into the place where it is the most comfortable for him. Mr. Hahn enlivens subconsciousness of Chester. First video from album Meteora.

"FRGT/10"

Clip about the girl who in the beginning of a clip painted a [LP] on the wall, then she is chased by the police. But eventually she manages to escape. This is an animation video. We can see the girl really only in the beginning and in the end.

The animation clip, is drawn by means of computer graphics. A plot - space war of the future between two (or more) races as it frequently happens. Very beautiful the graphics. During the "war" sometimes there are inserts of the frames, with heads (the heads cut off from a body!) of members of group singing. Video from an album of remixes "Reanimation".

« It's Goin’ Down »

Linkin Park (Mike, Rob and the Phoenix) and the soloist of group Static-X, Vayne Statik, play in the foreground in a small hall with a red floor. On a background there are DJs from group X-Ecutioners and Mr. Hahn (Linkin Park). This clip belongs to X-Ecutioners. Composition It's Going Down is on album X-Ecutioners « Built from Scratch ».

« Points Of Authority »

Set of concert performances, plus domestic video fragments of group. The given clip did not intend for different musical channels for display, it was necessary only for release of a DVD-disk. But, still, now this clip is shown practically by all musical channels of the world.

« In The End »

The group is on a huge stone statue in the middle of desert. Then Mike goes on burnt, by the sun, ground and raps. Around him everything comes to life, the grass and trees starts to grow... Then the downpour begins and group sings already under a rain. Then the rain abates and a statue stands in the middle of a green wood. The clip is completely made using computer, was shot in Los Angeles. Patrick Kup has thought up scenery (he has also made films Godzilla, Godzilla-2 etc)

"Papercut"

The group comes into a small room and starts singing. During the clip behind a wall of this room there are horrors happening. The clip all has been started on TV of the Great Britain, and has been shown in the USA only during time Family Values Tour.

« One Step Closer »

Debut video of Linkin Park. Action of a clip occurs in a underground of Los Angeles. The group plays in the center of a platform while ninja fly and the jump around. Curious koreans are observing the group from behind of boxes. Interesting that the director of video, Greg Dark, earlier produced pornofilms.

There are some song legths on the official site what aren't correct, so you have the "normal" version of all songs.

 

By the way, I wrote previous post in Microsoft Word and when i inserted the text into "enter your post" some formatting has disappeared, but i corrected it. When I push Add Reply, everythin, where were extra spaces between name and song length disappeared when it was already in final view (I think you understood what i wanted to tell you, sorry for my english)

 

I want to compare song length that differ from official web site with few people before editing the post with right lenght, or leaving if it is already so.

 

2. Technique - 3:52 (I have short version with 0:40 min) - Technique is about 0:42, the website has the length of Part of Me listed for Technique by accident.
3. Step Up - 3:58 (mine 3:53) - Step Up is 3:58, but there's about a second of silence before the track starts and 3 seconds afterwards, yours probably just has the silence cut off.
4. And One - 4:08 (mine 4:30) - And One is 4:34, the website has a misprint on this one.
5. High Voltage - 3:30 (mine 3:44) - High Voltage on the EP is 3:31. You're probably listing the version from the OSC single (3:45) on there by accident.
6. Part Of Me - 3:50 - Part of me is approx. 3:50 for the actual song, but the full track is 12:43, including the hidden track plus silence in between.


3. With You - 2:55 (mine 3:23) - With You is 3:23.

4. [Chali] - 2:23 (mine 0:23) - Chali is 0:23
5. Frgt/10 - 3:23 (mine 3:32) - Frgt/10 is 3:32

Don't trust the LP.com site, they have lots of misprints all over the place.

Actually my regular version is 3:34 and my single version is 3:35. I guess my CD burner adds a second of silence onto every track or something when I rip from a CD.

 

I think, that 1 or even 2 seconds doesn't mean anything serious, but >=3 is strange. I'll just edit fy first post with the correct length. Does anybody know if there are any new singles and also from Collision Course. I know that there is Numb/Encore single, but I don't Know the track listing.

 

Now I'll work on video list, help me if i miss something, as I'll post only videos which I have, because I don't know where can get the whole list and description of all the video...

I have no idea whether the Bonus Beat is a completely new beat or not.
The Instrumental is when they only have the instruments/beat (no vocals), and A Cappella is only vocals (So you can add your own beat if you want to use it for a remix).

The "Amended version" is just the clean version. Bizarre why they didn't name it that.

 

The Bonus Beat is just the drums from Numb/Encore with no other music.

Well, there's so many because as most bands do, LP releases their singles in a variety of formats. (CD/vinyl/cassette/DVD/Itunes)

I've heard Paranoia, the Papercut demo. It sounds the same pretty much except the drum part at the beginning is removed. I've also heard Esaul, Rhinestone, and the Points of Authority demo. BTW, is there such thing as a Runaway demo?

 

Papercut with the intro drums cut off = Papercut Japan Edit. It was on Under Attack, a fan-made LP bootleg album. It's probably not even an official song, someone just cut off the intro.

No, there isn't a Runaway demo.

And video clips list. What about description of every their clip, as i've already did with some of them?
