Aliens

I believe that other forms of life exist in the universeyes, but maybe not "aliens."

It is very unlikely that they will be symmetrical or anything like that, unless they evolved on a planet exactly like the Earth, the same distance from a star roughly the same size of the sun. And I also feel that it is unlikely that there would be an ingelligent life, per-say.

Humans would be very, very closeminded and ignorant to feel that Earth is the only place where any life exists.

 

I believe in what they call "Aliens" because it would seem impossible to think that there wasn't anything out there that may have the same or higher intelligence.

 

I say yes. I was watching this thing on Sci-Fi network last night where they talked about 'what really happened' and 'the cover-up' at Roswell in 1947. I don't think a space ship simply crash landed in a field, I don't think an old weather balloon crashed like the gov't suggested. I believe that a space ship hit a weather balloon and they both crashed in the field.

 

Even if that wasn't meant to be funny, I almost fell out of my chair.

Rosswell probably had nothing to do with aliens. It is very likly that it was a govt. cover-up. Maybe they were transporting something they didnt want us to know about for national security (e.g. a nuclear bomb or deadly chemical). Maybe it was an experamental craft of somekind.

Has anyone heard or seen that special on UPN, which invovle a sequence of events that had a family be obucted by aliens! (i'm serious)

 

I think there are definately life forms out there somewhere. There is no way we are the only planet with life.
What is interesting is that the moon Titan, which is the only moon with an atmosphere is very similar to what early Earth was like. So they think that life may be ble to form on Titan, even though it will be like microscopic single celled organisms. That would be really strange.

I saw the show, yes.

 

If they were to come to earth, I think there would be a mix feeling within the alien race. Some of the aliens would probally be pro humans and some of the others would be not for human existence. Which would probally end up in a galatic battle between the good aliens and the bad aliens right here on earth!

 

They'd be nice but threatening like "you dumb humans are a danger to the universe". Or maybe they'll be cool and endearing like that movie 'Red Planet'.

 

I've always been very interested in space and the possiblity of aliens. As Will said it is very ignorant to completely rule it out especially if you don't specialise in thoughs areas of science. It would be cool if aliens existed as long as their nice aliens.
