Updating my tier list since my 2018 album cycle's done since Muse's Simulation Theory came out.
YES!
Post Traumatic - Mike Shinoda: Still holds up really well with top notch production and great songwriting all round.
As It Is - The Great Depression: A heavier sound fits As It Is like a glove, still enjoying this one too!
Simulation Theory - Muse: Loving the experimentation on this one, sounds like a halfway between Origin and 2nd Law.
Past Lives - Against The Current: All the brightness of In Our Bones contrasted with darker lyrics, a nice evolution overall.
Living Proof - State Champs: Still much better than Around The World And Back, can't wait to see where the band go next.
Er...
Deaf Havana - Rituals: The album lacks substance and the pop production really doesn't give it a leg up for me.
Ugh...
Bad Witch - Nine Inch Nails: No amount of "look at my risky saxophone" can hide a diluted version of the Broken EP
Singularity - Jon Hopkins: Less a magical journey through cosmic space and more parked up by the Milky Way for me..
America - 30 Seconds To Mars: The style has outran the substance and how the songs have suffered as a result..
