For me, right now, it's "Spirit" by Depeche Mode. I'm also curious about Tool releasing something (assuming that does happen).

Not many releases from artists I'm interested in have announced albums yet. But currently, I'm highly anticipating "Pure Comedy" by Father John Misty, Thundercat's "Drunk," and the new Fleet Foxes record. Ne Obliviscaris and Steven Wilson should also be releasing new records this year, but nothing's been announced yet.

Hoping for a new BMTH album, they usually drop one every other year.

Me too. but, i think the new album are not gonna come this year :(. because they still touring, right now they're in Australia and then on march begins the North America tour which finished on April. and according to this interview. Oli has said that they gonna take a break before they start writing. so i expect something new in 2018 (i hate me when i say that :timothy:)

I'd say Father John Misty's new album. I do adore his music.

I love Chvrches but I doubt they'll release something new this yeah, unless it's a one-off track. I'm hoping that they take their time on the third album and make something special. Every Open Eye was a great sequel, but it felt too safe and didn't try many new things, and a third album would be boring. I'm ready for the MTM of the Chrvrches world.

I'm not sure I'm anticipating much besides whatever Muse might make, and Imagine Dragons. Most of my favorite artists are hot off the heels of new albums.

I submit a motion to remove "Other Than Linkin Park's" from the title of this thread. As it is posted in the Other Music subforum, the phrase is a redundant clause that isn't necessary to foster conversation. That and I'm being needlessly petty and am annoyed any time I see the words "Linkin Park" in the non-LP side of the forum, which will probably necessitate keeping the fragment in question for the sake of annoying me.

I hope they just don't come back for live shows. I mean Rob's been doing vocals for a while so there is hope! unless they scrap all the music again

I totally forgot about those two. Especially Scepticflesh. Their last one was brilliant!
Plus I'm really looking forward to the new Terror EP early/mid 2017. They never disappoint.
