Album Artwork and "BURN IT DOWN" Digital Download to be Released April 16th

    According to Warner Music Germany the artwork for the yet to be titled Linkin Park album will be revealed on April 16th!

    That's the same day the brand new single "Burn It Down" premieres on the radio and becomes available for digital download via iTunes as a single track. The release of the single will also be accompanied by a lyrics video.

    Read a translation of the article below:

    The 16th April is a great day for fans of Linkin Park. On this date, next Monday, at 15:00 local time, the new single "Burn It Down" will be available.

    "Burn It Down" as a one-track will be available digitally on iTunes for download. Besides the digital release and radio premiere, the single will also be accompanied by a lyrics video on the very same day. Finally the official artwork for the album will also be revealed!

    Mark your calender on April 16th! Until then: There is a new album teaser titled "LP 2K12".

    Why a lyrics video?

    Are the lyrics so complicated? ;P
    Or must we all be able to shout along at the very first show? (don't need a video for that ;)

    I dunno about you guys but it appears to me a growing portion of artists out there are beginning to use lyric videos :O

    OMG THIS IS SOOOO AWESOME!!! SERVERS ARE OVERLOADING!!!

    The artwork for Burn it Down is finished as well now btw, they uploaded the rest of the pieces at once

    Also, I have a theory, if the artwork for the album is released, that might mean the album title will be on it!

    Unless its like ATS where the title wasn't on the cover...

    TOO MUCH EPICNESS IS HAPPENING!!

    They did it for The Catalyst and Waiting For the End! I don't see anything wrong doing it again for Burn It Down

    I was thinking the same thing. But during MTM they only revealed the picture of the cover w/o any title or anything. They could do the same this time around. :shrug:

    Nice. Its really heating up (again). The 16th is ALOT sooner than I realised! :wtf:

    But I'm really staring to think "Living things" is the album title. Sorry if this has been discussed to death in the Puzzle thread. Of course they could be rickrolling us again :lol:

    The lyrics video is a logical idea because, apart from the fact they have done lyric videos in the past, there's NO WAY the official music video is finished by now. Editing takes a lot of time and they barely finished filming at the end of March/beginning of April.

    Can't wait!! :D
