WOOHOO!!!! Time to go out and buy an 802.11g laptop... ...oh crap I'm only 16 and have no job. Indeed very cool news, Apple is REALLY starting to pick up on where they have been lagging behind. I'm a little confused as to how the little component works though, it just plugs into a power outlet and *WHAM!* you got broadband? I remember seeing the technology on TechTV about a year ago, but it was wiring up an entire house with the stuff, and said that it'll be available for commercial use in 2007. Oh well, it's out, not to end my rant. /end WOOHOO!
Apple has had wireless network stuffs for home users since like 1999 ... its nothing new. This new product just a really clever innovation for playing music from you computer onto you sound system without wires. It will also work as a portable router .. so if your modem has an ethernet wire coming out of it (or your in a hotel/student dorm room with an ethernet port) you can setup and wireless internet connection with up to 10 users. You also also connect a USB printer to it so everyone in your house can use the same printer.
Yea; i think so. The point is that its a wireless router that you can share you tunes or something like that; right?
OK unless you have an iPod all your MP3s are on your computer. So if you want to listen to music, your stuck next to your computer. This new product allows you to have like a wireless connection into your living room or something to play them there. This plugs into a power socket in your living room... can you see the audio jack?? You connect it to your stereo and bam! (You do need a Wi-Fi card in your computer to use this)
ok ill start saving money now. *counts money*... man im broke again. i need some economic skills. i could be a stock market person, so i can get lots of money. dont mind me.
I don't think anyone cares. Oh, and iPods are still crap. [/b][/quote] Expect a night vistit from Todd tonight :chemist:
