Well as you know it's the 2nd of November, and it's only just hit me that in three days it will be Bonfire night - fireworks, guy fawkes, bonfires and treacle toffies galore. Got anything planned? Like it? DISlike it?

Personally I love bonfire night, professional firework displays are probably the main reason. Sometimes I don't even have to go out, I can just stand at the window and look up and see everything from my house - it gives me a lot of good memories. The only problem I have with fireworks is that little [expletives] get their hands on them and fire them at houses all through the night - it's not funny, so why bother? :argh:

It's a great time to socialise as well (well around here anyway), most people go to the football club and stay there almost all night - there's no fighting or bitterness, probably because everyone is too buzy singing random songs or stuffing their faces with baked potatoes :p I normally meet up with a few friends and stay around the fire with them while thinking of various things.

So yeah, I think it's easy to say that I like Bonfire night, but what about you? :)
