Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-Calif.) used a line from a "Saturday Night Live skit" in a speech in Ontario over the weekend, and now he is refusing to apologize. During his speech, Schwarzenegger insulted Democrats and called them "girlie men," a line from the long-running comedy skit about Schwarzenegger-worshipping bodybuilders. "And I hope that those that want to sell out to the special interests, those girlie men up there in Sacramento, if they don't have the guts -- if they don't have the guts to come out here in front of you and say 'I don't want to represent you. I want to represent those special interests ... those unions and trial lawyers. I want them to make the millions of dollars and I don't want to represent you' -- if they don't have the guts, I call them 'girlie men,'" Schwarzenegger said. "They should go back to the table and fix the budget." Democrats said the remark was sexist and homophobic, but a spokesperson for Schwarzenegger said the governor has no need to apologize. The spokesman said it was a forceful way of making the point that legislators are "wimps" when they let special interests push them around. From NBC5.com

I love Arnold! Cali sucks though, I lived there for six years. Too many Democrats and libs for my taste....... Although, it has it's beauty points.
