Just yesterday a whole bunch of people got a little upset when it was revealed that Europe was going to be seeing the UMD and DVD of last year’s Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children before it came to the States. While that is still true, American fans can relax a bit as it was announced today that FF: AC would be released in the U.S. just a day after the European release, April 25th. Aside from that, we have a voice cast list announcement as well – surprisingly (or maybe not so much) many of these actors are also voicing some of the same characters in the other Square-Enix franchise, Kingdom Hearts II: Cloud Strife: Steve Burton Tifa Lockhart: Rachael Leigh Cook Kadaj: Steve Staley Rufus Shinra: Wally Wingert Reno: Quinton Flynn Rude: Crispin Freeman Yazoo: Dave Wittenberg Loz: Fred Tatasciore Vincent Valentine: Steve Blum Barett Wallace: Beau Billingslea Cid Highwind: Chris Edgerly Yuffie Kisaragi: Christy Romano Cait Sith: Gregg Ellis Red XIII: Liam O'Brien Reeve: Jamieson Price Tseng: Ryun Yu Elena: Bettina Bush Marlene: Wallace Grace Rolek Denzel: Benjamin Bryan Girl: Andrea Bowen Zack: Rick Gomez Aerith Gainsborough: Mena Suvari Sephiroth: George Newbern True fans won’t want to pass up on the DVD version since it will be a 2–disc set with a bonus DVD containing a story digest, deleted scenes, a “making of” featurette, and footage from the debut at the 2004 Venice Film Festival. You can also catch glimpses of the other upcoming games based in the FFVII universe. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children DVD will retail for $26.96 and is rated PG-13. [Via, GameSpot]
That's better news IF it's gonna be alot of voices from KH it should be alright. I'm gonna buy the DVD and the UMD
I'm not a huge FFVII fan but i love FF so.. I always said i'll buy this so i probably will. I haven't actualy seen it yet, so i'm hoping it'll be good (which, from what people say, it sounds that way)
