Awesome. I love Adema. EDIT: Did Adema change it's name to Level or something? EDIT #2: Oh, I see. Their new singer is from the band level.
Heard about this guy last week, he sounds good. I like him. Plus, some of you will probably be happy to know that they're not playing any of the "Planets" album live anymore either.
wait... is this a third singer for the band. What happened to Luke? Thats not the first guy right? What was his name? I've never even heard Adema songs with that Luke guy... lol. Well, I'll go check out the new singer...
Oh, his name was Mark? Well, I checked out this new singer. He has a nice voice, but for me, I like Marks voice much better. If only he did come back. Do you think he'll start another band or something?
He was actually going to, but it just didn't work out. They had shows lined up and had intended to play with him, but it just didn't work out. I don't remember the reasons. Luke left due to personal reasons (kind of). He and Kris Kohls also got into a fight (Luke claims Kris was drunk, Dave DeRoo said he wasn't and Luke was being a wuss about the whole thing), and he also said he wasn't paid at all -- to which Dave said Earache's paid no one so far. He's back in Rewind Yesterday now.
Why is everyone so hard on Luke and the Planets CD? I thought he made far beter lyrics than Mark, and that the band upped their instrumental game a little. Why the hate?
I thought most of the lyrics were better, and I actually liked Luke's singing voice better (although he can't really scream), but some of the lyrics were just bad and some songs sounded incomplete. It was still one of my favorite albums for last year, though.
Yeah, the lyrics were much more mature, in my opinion. It seemed all of the old Adema lyrics were cheesy in a way, especially on Unstable. I liked Mark's voice better, though, even though I liked Luke's alot, too. This new guy sounds good...
I really like the Midnight Panic album. "You Don't Have To Be Afraid", "Not Looking Back" & "No One Here Is Safe" are probably my favorites off the CD.
