I just posted this on Concert Hype In a recent interview with the Anchorage Daily News, Adema frontman Marky Chavez had alot to say about the band's future. Chavez confirmed that Adema will be announcing a record deal with a major label in the coming weeks, and that a new album, produced by the band themselves, is due out in October. No album title has been released, but the names of three songs, "Negativity", "Facing The Crowd", and "Back To Start", were divulged by the lead singer. Stay tuned for more info. Who wants to bet on which label they'll go to. I say Interscope. And props for them on producing their own record.
Lil John is on TVT, but so are Nine Inch Nails (last time I checked), so I see what you mean. lol.
NIN are on Interscope...Sevendust is on TVT. I think they'll end up on Lava (Smile Empty Soul, Nonpoint moved there, I think Cold's on there now)
NIN are on Interscope...Sevendust is on TVT. I think they'll end up on Lava (Smile Empty Soul, Nonpoint moved there, I think Cold's on there now)
Ok. I went to the sam goody and picked up a NIN cd (cant remember which it was) but it had TVT on the back.
Dangit, you beat me to it! I forgot to post about it, so you probably would have beat me either way, actually Also, if anyone wants to get the latest information I'd recommend these forums: http://adema.ipbhost.com/index.php? Not trying to promote another site or anything, but that's honestly where you can find the most up-to-date information on them.
Ok. I went to the sam goody and picked up a NIN cd (cant remember which it was) but it had TVT on the back.
that was for their first album "Pretty Hate Machine" NIN moved to Interscope when they released the Downward Spiral...he has a imprint label on there called nothing records
I hope TVT have changed their ways if they're still in business. I bet they're regretting pissing off Trent right about now.
I say RoadRunner. My favourite label out threre, and i'll definately get Adema's CD if they release it.
RoadRunner already has Nickelback and the hardcore, metal-loving fans of the label hate that. If RoadRunner was to sign Adema, the label would have no fans at all.
True, but i'm sure Adema can give them more sales than the rest of the bands (except Slipknt, Kse and a couple more). But true, i don't think Adema fit RR's concept.
I'm not so sure it's going to be a smaller label, as all of you guys are saying. Labels were in a huge bidding war for Adema to get them signed last time, and I don't really expect too much change. I think the guys may want to be on a smaller label to get more attention, though, and one without rap (where the label focuses on those acts).
Well, if we're saying the labels we want, then I want them to be on Virgin. Virgin supports their artists, thankfully. Look at 30 Seconds to Mars -- on pretty much any other label they'd be dropped by now, but Virgin knows talent, so they're sticking with 'em.
I think it's great they're signing with a new record label. I forget what their old one was - anyone know?
