The song mentioned was actually just a fan remix by a member who used to be active on these forums. He's actually, in my opinion, improved a lot since I heard this particular song.
99% of the one-off collaborations involved just two or three LP band members at most, and they were usually Shinoda and Chester.
, that remix was done by my friend and it was done when he was still in college and like 18 years old. He never planned for people to mistake it for a real song or for it to be as big as it is. Here's him nearly ten years later: http://youtu.be/DZafHtQbpgQ I think you can agree he's improved lol.
It's from a collaboration Mike and Chester did with Handsome Boy Modeling School called "Rock and Roll Could Never Hip Hop Like This Part 2". Mike also drops an amazing verse on the track but everyone seems to only pay attention to Chester's part because of "Hardly Breathe".
It seems like there's too much, Pac, we don't need it. I'm cool on your heat, you can keep it. Also, holy crap on that newer Hydroponikz song! Definitely a huge improvement.
What about ''Spell It Out''? That got wayyy more attention than Hardly Breathe. And it's much better. And it's also fake and from the same song. EDIT: Come to think about it, I did a lyrics video for it back in 2009 when I was all for Windows Movie Maker. Whew, dat 240p. EDIT 2: Looks like it didn't. Wow, didn't know Hardly Breathe was that popular...
Back in high school, I tried to convince all my friends that that was a diss towards the late Tupac ;D
Way more attention? You clearly didn't see the original Hardly Breathe video that had millions of views then (*edit* nevermind saw your edit lol) And of course the fake spell it out would sound a little better. It has professionally recorded vocals vs a take that was done on a ghetto PC mic that didn't even have a pop screen. People don't understand that Hardly Breathe was done in like two days and wasn't intended to be this big hit. It was done for fun. Hydroponikz didn't even get a decent studio set up till like two years later. I know this cause I've been his friend for ten years and have probably hundreds of demos that will never see the light of day.
