This is a new rule that we have implimented in the past few weeks and we need to stress on it more. I myself have broken this rule a few times, and I want to clear this rule up. Basically, you are not allowed to post anything that does not have a purpose, or, as the rule says, a point. Threads that do not have points, such as those created to make fun of someone or to tell the community that you are leaving or even to announce that you are back [01], are not acceptable and will be deleted on the spot. Also, the creation of threads to tell people about a new band you just found out about are also not acceptable. I have noticed that these threads generally just cause problems, so if you have to "recommend a band" or whatnot, please do it in the "Recommend A Band" thread that I have created.

Another thing I want to add is something that I picked up from the LPU Forums. If you want to create a "serious" thread; that is, something personal that you need help with, such as a break-up or whatnot, you can create the thread, and under "Topic Description" when you first create the thread, be sure to write "Serious Topic" in the field so that everyone knows this. Threads like this cannot have one-word replies, they must be someone of length and must pertain to the topic. One-word replies or replies such as "I do not know how to help you" are not accepted in these types of threads and are deleted.

If you want a thread of yours closed, please send a PM to a moderator or administrator, do not add a reply that says "please close this," as we will regard it as trying to heighten your post count. [02]

Any other threads are acceptable as long as they have a point, such as a game or a general topic. If you create a game thread, please describe the game in your first post and the rules of the game and give some examples. If you create a general topic, go ahead, many are made everyday.

We just want you to enjoy these forums and we want you to have fun while viewing them. We do not want cluttered forums as it will only make our community look sloppy, so please, take this entire thread into consideration.

    Thanks,
    Akuma-sama & the LPA Staff

    Notes:
[01] If you have to tell the community you are leaving for whatever amount of time, please put it in your signature. It is simply a waste of space when you create a thread like that. The same goes for the threads announcing that you are back on the forums. Those are distracting and only add to the clutter of the forums.

[02] Heightening your post count is not tolerable and results in an automatic deduction of five from your post count. We will decide what is heightening of your post count and what is not.
