    i dunno why, but recently ive had this obsession with acoustic songs, i think acoustic versions can sometimes be better than studio versions, does anyone have any great acoustic songs (studio or live)

    heres a few good ones:

    Good Charlotte - Always And Forever, Seasons, The Day That I Die, Young And The Hopeless
    Puddle Of Mudd - Control, Blurry
    Hoobastank - Crawling In The Dark, Ready For You
    Creed - Arms Wide Open
    Staind Feat. Fred Durst - Outside
    Jimmy Eat World - The Middle, Sweetness
    Green Day - Time Of Your Life

    Give AFI's "The Leaving Song Part One" a listen, it's by far my favorite acoustic song...

    Well, I can't really think of any now. I think Forgive Me by Evanescence is Acoustic. I can't remember, but I like that one. I also like Outside and Time of Your Life from the ones you listed. :)

    Here's My Favourite Acoustic Songs:

    Dream Theater - Silent Man
    Liquid Tension Experiment - Hourglass (this ones absolutely beautiful)
    Pain of Salvation - Pilgrim (Goodenlow is an awesome singer)
    Opeth - Harvest
    Opeth - Windowpane
    Opeth - In My Time of Need
    Opeth - To Rid the Disease (Opeth has the best acoutic stuff!)
    Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Under the Bridge (mainly acoustic)
    RHCP - I Could Have Lied
    Porcupine Tree - Collapse the Light Into Earth
    System of A Down - Roulette (awesome!!!)
    These are in no order!

    Ive actually heard a live acoustic version LP played of Pushing Me Away and it was really good!

    The song actually isn't acoustic, as it has a clean electric guitar in it.

    Staind's Outside, Disturbed's Darkness, and Godsmack's Serenity are all great acoustic songs

    Are you sure you're not thinking of the Leaving Song Part Two (the single?) 'cause LSP1 doesn't sound like it has an electric guitar to me...

    Edit: You may be right...but it sounds acoustic, anyway :)

    Finger Eleven's "One Thing" is an amazing acoustic song. Download Cold's "Year of the Spider" too because about half the album has acoustic guitars.

    The acoustic version of Leader of Men by Nickelback is amazing too.

    Good Charlotte's cover of Silverchair's "Cemetery" is an excellent acoustic song. Mest's "Chance Of A Lifetime" is also good as well.

    3 Days Grace - "I Hate Everything About You" sounds really good as an acoustic. ^_^
