If you wanted your account deleted (that is possible, isn't it?), then you could PM a Admin or just wait until they see this thread. But, why do you want your account deleted? If you just want a different username you can PM a Admin and tell them what you would like it changed to.
no that is because my friends (not exactly)went through my email address and made another account(clone) anyways thanx for the information Twizted peace strangelo0m
Well, you yourself can't delete an account, but an Admin can. It's pointless to delete an account anyways, just leave it and come back whenever you wish. It's not taking up any space. *moves to Feedback*
ok thanks alot people! hmm if i want to change my address will that erase my problems? it wont matter anyways as i am already hacked strangelo0m
we never delete accounts, we just ban them and leave the account.
I think I'm proof of that.
I think I'm proof of that.
but one thing i'd like to ask the admins is- Doesn't leaving banned accounts kinda overload your database?
but one thing i'd like to ask the admins is- Doesn't leaving banned accounts kinda overload your database?
The space used up by a members account in the database is minimal, maybe 3 kb, so even with all of the banned members combined, we're still talking about maybe 100kb which is minimal, and too much of a hassle in case we ever decide to unban someone.
so um this is for the admin---- i am going to change my email address due this "crisis" which has stumbled in ...can you tell me how i will get my notifications on my new account? thanx for all your help strangelo0m~
thanx a lot mark you dont know how much youve helped a newbie!! anyway did any one of you read the posts by aki*lp???(mainly the posts are under the name "gender" and "are you an lp freak" or something) what did you think about the posts written above.please write asap
I was reading this...and it turned out to be quite interesting. The administrators don't have to delete accounts. If they are banned accounts, they should be left there in case they choose to unban someone. Which is unusual because that never happens. And you were saying about how it might overfill LPA's database. Well, the admin's are right...it's huge. Just thought I could have a say in this.
