    01. The Requiem [2:01]
This song really opens the album with a very freaky atmosphere. What could be a little piano mixed with alien sounds really gives a freaky sounding opening track. It slowly builds up and suddenly some "ohhs" comes into the picture with effects making them very freaky sounding. Then comes a very soft female voice with a robot effect who sings the same lyrics that can be found in The Catalyst. This is a very good opening track, very freaky sounding and really creates a great atmosphere.
    9/10. Pretty powerful opening track.

    02. The Radiance [0:58]
A fast paced beat which is covered in an alien like sounds and a speech from J. Robert Oppenheimer which really continues the atmosphere from The Requiem. His speech ends and the song comes to a calm, a heart beat sound ends the song slowly.
8/10. The song isn't much more than a speech, therefore it doesn't appeal as much as the other songs on the album.

    03. Burning In The Skies [4:13]
The heart beat sound continues into the start of this song, then a piano comes in. Its a very emotional piano for a few seconds before electric drums and effects comes into the song. Mike starts singing softly to the piano in a very emotional sound and will for sure give listeners that sad-like feeling. The chorus kicks in with Chester but the song doesn't pick up, it holds onto the emotional feeling. Come the second chorus the song picks up a little bit but it remains with the emotional feeling thats the rest of the song has built up. The bridge is very good with guitar coming into the picture, a solo I believe. The chorus comes back similar to the first chorus and then transmitting into a heavier chorus. Mike closes the song very emotionally.
10/10. Very emotional, and great singing by both Chester and Mike.

    04. Empty Spaces [0:18]
A very short interlude track, sort of ends the emotional atmosphere of Burning In The Skies. The crickets are very real sounding and will give listeners the feel that they are outside in the dark. The sounds of the bombs and soldiers seem to cut in too quickly, one second they aren't there and the next they are. Doesn't really help the track.
6/10. Very short, the quickness of the soldiers and bombs coming in ruins the feel.

    05. When They Come For Me [4:56]
Really gets you pumped to the rest of the album right from the start. A kick ass drum beat drops in a few seconds and really builds up along with the effected guitar. The song calms down a bit before building up once again before Mike starts rapping to the song. The rapping is pretty good, but not Mikes best. The chorus is "aah"-ed by what seems to be a choir, and then Mike comes right back into the picture with more rapping, after the next chorus Chester starts singing "When they come for me i will be gone", and soon Mike joins in, the song builds up once again. Mike raps a line from the verses when he was rapping here and there. The song quiets down a bit and the same sounds heard in Empty Spaces can be heard, then Chester starts screaming and it honestly reminds me of Egyptian music from the movies. The song comes to and end, a machine/robot sound can be heard.
9/10. Not Mike's best rapping, but a really great music.

    06. Robot Boy [4:29]
A happy grand piano opens the song, followed by a fading in drum beat and some "ooh"s from possibly the whole band. The beat bursts out a little heavier, Mike and Chester both begin singing which sounds beautiful. The song cuts down to the beat and the singing from Mike and Chester, it brings back the emotional sounds that Burning In The Skies created, but less powerful this time. The song bursts out into a epic sounding bridge, Chester screams some lyrics out behind the music. The singing from Mike and Chester comes back, and the screams from Chester continue on for an epic sounding song. The song cuts back down to the singing and a lighter sounding beat, the song slowly cuts down to a single repeating sound. The song comes to a slow close for what was a beautiful sounding track, pretty emotional just like Burning In The Skies.
10/10. Very powerful track in my opinion, great singing from Mike and Chester once again.

    07. Jornada del Muerto [1:35]
The track opens with Mike singing in what is believed to be Japanese, some emotional background music follows in slowly and then the tracks begins to louden before Mike concludes singing and some techno sounds are played. The track continues to build up the atmosphere of the album, the song reaches a high point and slowly begins to fade away into the next track.
9/10. The effects of Mike's voice really adds to the emotion of this song. The songs seems to be like an ending to Robot Boy.

    08. Waiting For The End [3:52]
Techno sounds and a piano slowly open the track, before you know it drums roll in and Mike kicks off rapping. He is rapping in a very different sounding voice than he usually does but it really works well with the kind of track this one is. Chester comes in with the chorus, the song slows down with just a single piano note and then the drums come back as the rest of the chorus is sung by Chester, then Mike comes in with some more "ooh"s - the song holds onto a slower pace. Both Chester and Mike sing the second verse, the song is the same as the first verse but without the guitar. Then the chorus hits again, it goes right into it this time and it keeps its building flow. Mike starts rapping after the chorus is over and the song starts to build up again with guitars back in the picture this time, Mike continues his different sounding rap accent. Then the song bursts out with Chester singing and screaming again, Mike is rapping over Chester's screams.
10/10. We hear a very different sounding Mike this time around, and the songs builds up very well. Chester and Mike at the end do brilliantly with each other.

    09. Blackout [4:40]
The song kicks off with some drums, they sound like the ones that you'd hear on an Army march, they seem distant though. What sounds like a piano with effects on it rolls in, some cool sounding techno sounds drop in shortly after. A scream from Chester fades in slowly but in reverse and suddenly drums kicks in a Chester begins what has been called his rap and he does a brilliant job. Then the song gets a tiny bit heavier and Chester screams the chorus, but his voice doesn't get any louder than it was when he was singing his rap. The drums seem to get heavier and a few more sounds seem to drop in, he finishes the chorus and the song drops down a bit and piano is introduced like the start of the song. The chorus comes back in the same as before the song then begins to turn into a remix sounding song. Heavier guitars drop in, drums become heavier too and Chester continues to scream the chorus but this time in parts - a lot of the lyrics repeated, Joe i going to be busy live. The song drops down to just a single techno sound and Mike starts singing softly with his amazing voice, he keeps singing as the piano and drums come back in. Then Chester starts singing like Mike was before, they are now both singing, Chester then starts singing louder as the song builds up more. A voice effect on Mike closes the song.
9/10. The start and end of the song is brilliant but the middle part is too much like a remix.

    10. Wretches & Kings [4:15]
The song opens up with a speech from Mario Savio, then one hell of a guitar kicks in and a then the drums roll in a few techno sounds along with it the song them calms down a bit as Mike starts his rap. Then a pre-chorus break kicks in, guitar with some other sounds fill it, then the drums come back in and what doesn't sound like anyone from Linkin Park shouts "hey" and then the drums roll and the chorus kicks in. We hear a very different sounding Chester than ever before and it really goes well with the rest of the track, and for importantly the sound of the chorus. The song calms down for a few lines of Mike's rap again, then it all kicks back in, then more rapping from Mike and then the chorus once again, it is repeated twice this time. The song calms down to a very odd guitar sound, Mike raps over it "from the front to the back and the side to side, if you feel what I feel put 'em up real high", the song builds as the guitars come back in the drums get heavier, then it calms back down and the speech from Mario Savio but this time with the last few sentences from it. Joe does a lot of scratching along with the guitar and drums, and then the track comes to a halt.
10/10. Mike is rapping at his best, a kick ass beat to go along with it - Chester sounds very different during the choruses and it just sounds very good.

    11. Wisdom, Justice, and Love [1:39]
A very emotional piano is played along with a speech from Martin Luther King, Jr and a choir. His voice as he speaks the speech slowly turns into a alien sounding/robotic sound and he ends with "wisdom, justice, and love". Its a very short track, but it sounds great - a very powerful pate of the album.
9/10. A very emotional piano, a choir and a powerful speech have made a very great track.
