At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted to hear the preview clips, but I'm glad I changed my mind with that. I feel a ton more confident that I'll enjoy the album now after hearing these :)

It's amazing how each time I listen to these clips, the sound starts to rub off on me more and more.

And, if Wisdom, Justice, and Love goes in the direction I think it will, that could be a seriously dark interlude. I'm picturing Dr. King's speech starting out normal, and slowly becoming robotic, and dark...as if we're losing the very things he's trying to promote. Idk, but that almost gives me chills.

Just curious for the people who have heard this sound before. Please let me know where you've heard this in one place before? Hearing the full cd and listening to these clips has me speachless. JDM and The Requiem, even WJL give new meaning to the word interlude. Waste of time intros and interludes are a thing of the past, up and comers take note that "smart listeners" will require this of future albums. You'll always have junk food listeners who only listen to/purchase one song over and over and they'll bash the hell out of them but the ones who appreciate the interludes will really latch onto the message and it will incredibly enhance their experience.

You'll shit brix. The end repeats WJL 4-5 times in a robotic voice. They'll probably put that 5 second pause after this track because it hits you like a ton of bricks... ;)

So this album is clearly more creative than Minutes to Midnight. I'm glad the band stood for themselves and quit being such hypocrites about reinventing themselves while sounding like U2 and keeping the same songs scheme.

Now there are songs that I don't dig at all, but this is the Linkin Park I believed in.

It's 8 AM in Europe, in two hours the album has leaked.

I'm not sure what the words are that I'm looking for to describe how I feel after listening to the preview clips. I read a couple of reviews of the album and to be honest, I was really worried. I was worried about having 5 interlude tracks, and political speeches, and I read that there wasn't a lot of Chester, etc. After listening to the 30 sec. tracks I was so .....relieved. This sounds like the band I love!!! The Catalyst has grown on me, and I've always liked Wretches and Kings. Blackout sounds amazing, and the interludes sound better than I was hoping, and I think that Wisdom, Justice and Love will be amazing. I was most curious to hear The Messenger. I am a huge Chester fan and could listen to him sing anything. A reviewer said that this song was terrible and something along the lines of Chester putting it on the album after the other guys left for the day.... I freaking looooove The Messenger!! I can't wait to hear the full version. The fact that I have to wait another week is insanity and I don't know if I can do it!!!!

The songs I'm feeling worried are:
When They Come For Me: I can't get the chorus part (if that's considered as a chrous) after Mike's rap, sounds quite strange.
Robot Boy: Despite completely out of my expectations, I really do hope that they've chosen the wrong part for the preview...
Iridescent: It sounded similar to Burning in the Skies to me, and was cut out before something could change my opinion on this song.
Apart from those that I've mentioned, the other songs sounded completely fine to me ;)
    Can't wait for the album!

You say the weight of the world is captured from letting go,
And you think compassions ? ? and you'll never let it show.
