I personally love JDM the best out of the interludes.
The Clips Remind Me Of Thrice's "Alchemy Index"
It Has The Heavy And EFX (The Fire Album)
The Soft and Melodic (Water & Air Albums)
And The Hard Beats (The Earth Album)
(That Last One Was Iffy haha)
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, NO!
If you get the meaning of this picture, you'll understand ATS: look/hear BEHIND the sounds, get the meanings of the lyrics and the whole album. I mean yes these snippets dont show the whole songs, but once you hear the full tracks...try to understand. your first reaction would be:
2. is that LP?
3. oh why... (and here you have to do your homework, listen to the album carefully over and over again and try to get the message.)
4. Love or Hate it
Some of you think behind LP's lyrics (on that album) are not that powerful and dont have a deeper meaning but indeed they have. I know this is a very complicated topic and it's all about the opinion of the one who heard the songs. But Ive recently saw an interview (30mins) of the guys talking about the album and they kinda confirmed my impressions.
to resume: ATS album + Meeting of ATS + Some interviews = Ah I got it.
Wow...I'm not so sure I'll like this album. Then again, it's only clips. I hated the 30 second clips for Brandon Flowers' solo album and then I heard the entire thing a few days ago and it's fantastic. So I'm hoping I'll get that same feeling when I hear A Thousand Suns in its entirety.
I'm watching the interview right now lol.
Edit: don't answer that
HA! Empty Spaces is out now!!! lol! now serius, When They Come For Me sounds like my fav..
i remember Mike saying that they are going back to the mindset of Hybrid Theory for this album...not copy it but the mindset..................so where is it? lol i hear a completely different yet amazing album but no Hybrid Theoryish
Also, Messenger makes me cry..yes im a dude, i have feelings and hearing Chester's vocals in that song are just amazing. I cant wait till the album leaks and when it does, i may laugh in the face of the labels security lol
I cant stop listening to these clips cuz they are that damn amazing. There may indeed be more bashing and haters for this album but who cares? Some of us love it to death...September 14th cant come soon enough!!
A lot of plastics are gonna hate this record.
By the mindset, they meant the concept of making the music THEY wanted to make and not conforming to label or fan pressure. I'd say they succeeded with that here.
In no order: Iridescent, Blackout, Wretches and Kings, Catalyst, Burning In The Skies, and the interludes are my favorites. Still undecided on When They Come For Me and Waiting For The End. Chester's voice in my opinion sounds too heavy for the Messenger. It should be softer. Speaking of soft, Robot Boy was too soft for my taste. Overall, I give the album just from the snippets I heard two thumbs up.
ah ok thanks!
Wow. I haven't listened to any of the clips, but it's great to see an almost universal positive reception.
1. This sounds nothing like anything Coldplay/U2 have ever produced. A couple songs on MTM had a bit of a U2 vibe to them, but that was it. In order to sound like Coldplay, they'd first have to master the art of writing songs that all sound exactly the same.
2. MTM sold way fewer records than HT/Meteora, and I'd expect the same from this album. This is by far the least commercial-sounding music the band has ever made.
Next time, come up with a legitimate argument, kthx.
its weird im a fan but im shocked ATS will be epic win or epic failure
i hope the next album follow the direction of the messenger
I Know Its Quick But Anyone Figure Out Any Lyrics?
