    As of a few moments ago, the puzzle has been solved and Linkin Park's official site has now been updated with a new image, replacing the "HELP ME!" prompt from earlier.

    This has been confirmed as the official album art for A Thousand Suns on the Official LP Facebook.

    If this is the album cover, consider me completely disappointed. There is nothing artistically impressive about this at all. I could've done this in photoshop in 30 minutes, if not less.

    I'm praying that this is just another message.

    Ah. More commentary on conflict from our friends at LP. A dove on the cover of an album named "A Thousand Suns."

    The duality in the title has suddenly become evident.

    I doubt this is the entire album cover. Probably a piece of it thought. I, however, think this would be a great album cover. More abstract than most.

    I think I'm the only one who likes this artwork. Whatever, at least I don't have any feelings of disappointment.

    I'm posting this here as well. My post from the other thread:

    Simplicity is good when it is appealing to the eye. This is something you could see in any amateur photoshop class. As someone who has designed a few websites in my time, composed music, gone very deep into the world of photography, written a book's worth of creative material, and ventured into other creative outlets, I don't see anything particularly inspiring in this as an art piece or as a representation of one's work.

    THIS is an example of some stunning work in minimalism:

    Note the overall tone of the piece. There's not much to focus on, with very simplistic text. Yet artistically, it's a fantastic piece of photography.

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    I think its one of those pictures if you look at it a certain way it turns into something else. Like, look crossed eyes and see a spaceship type deals. Because when I stare at it it seems to fade in and out in and out..

    The black part looks like a planet then there's like these white rays that alien spaceships would shine down to bring someone up to their space craft.... lol
