The full video for the new Linkin Park single "A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES" has been made available for viewing on ro69.jp and inthemix.com.au. The embedded video players on both pages are region-locked for Japan and Australia, respectively, so it seems that fans outside of those countries will unfortunately have to wait to see the full music video. UPDATE: the video can now also be viewed worldwide on YouTube. The new music video shows the band members and Steve Aoki rendered in full CGI via motion capture; this echoes the techniques used for the "LIVING THINGS" album art as well as Linkin Park's animated video for "Pts.Of.Athrty" from 2002. As with most Linkin Park videos from the "A Thousand Suns" and "LIVING THINGS" album cycles, the "A LIGHT THAT NEVER COMES" video was directed by Linkin Park's Joe Hahn, with visuals effects handled once again by the band's team at Ghost Town Media. In addition to this, a making-of featurette showing us the development process behind the new video can be watched on Dell's website. Gah.. I thought it would be widely available by now . EDIT: I found another location for the video, I think ZA belongs to South Africa?
For the Irish: http://entertainment.ie/music/news/...sic-video-A-Light-That-Never-Comes/221157.htm Oh, also, ChesterBNetwork has the video avaliable internationally, but I'm not sure how legal, so I'm not posting links.
A weird instance where the video is better than the song itself. That's not to say that the song is bad though.
The video was meh, but I did gain a certain level of respect for all the people putting in work during the "making of" video. I think the video could have been better if they showed more of that city landscape, but I guess it incorporates the vibe they wanted.
Ireland got it too http://entertainment.ie/music/news/...sic-video-A-Light-That-Never-Comes/221157.htm
