My roses lay at your feet, withered and dead
I’ll offer condolences for your broken heart
But you have to know that mine’s broken, too
I can remember the first night I laid my eyes on you
Now it seems so very far away
I can’t believe it’s over now
I’m broken, you’re broken, and we’re broken together

Shattered in pieces and laying on the ground
Next to the rose petals that have fallen all around
