Well I am 15 so I guess I lack of lot of experience. But a person can't really judge themselves can they?
Same reason I can't use PS, I never used it when I was first starting, so by the time I even tried, it was too foreign. So I'll just stick to mah GIMP. Bumping with new (well, not-so-new) content: And now for something completely different (a.k.a photomanipulation):
I guess it all depends on what we use a lot more. I started out with Paint.Net, then I moved onto GIMP. Soon after I was given a copy of Photoshop from my uncle, who is a graphics designer. It was really overwhelming at first but then you grow into it and start adapting.
cam: Thanks =) zak: Exactly. People talk about how GIMP is so hard to use, or how it's so easy to make X or Y effect. But I've used GIMP for so long, I know it inside-and-out so well that I could recreate any effect I see in someone's tag. I know all the hotkeys and shortcuts and how to work every tool and filter... God I feel old when I talk about GIMP like this.
