I love it. It's my calm music along with trance. Talk talk are the greatest 80's band by far but I also like Wham, Killing Joke, Roxette, New Order and a few others.

    THE 80'S RULE \o/

I'm doubting anyone here likes it though =p. 80's pop music was talent, most of the 90's and all of todays is crap

Gotta love most of the 80's stuff. Some of it was dire though. I like some 80's bands, don't ask me to list them though, my parents listen to them all the time, dunno what they're called.

And yeah, i agree with Suffice

Mmhm, it had talent and people actually worked to get noticed and signed. Most pop today is manufactured.

My friend loves 80's Hair Metal. She's actually a bit obsessed with it. I personally don't see whats so great about Hair Metal. It's pretty corny to me.

She starts talking to me about all these bands and crap and I just pretend that I like what she shows me.. it's funny.

Hmm... my mom always use to listen to 80's Dance music and some probably from the 90's when I was little. And I do like some of those songs. Like the "I'll Be loving You" song and "In A Dream".. lol I think those are okay. I just burned a CD a few days ago with some 80's-90's hits for my parents .. haha but it's not like I listen to 80's music all the time or at all for that matter. I can stand listening to 'em though. ;)

I personally cant stand the 80's, not even "alternative" bands like the Cure....but if people like it thats cool.

I just dont know why they had to synthesize real instruments all the time when they could have just played them or hired someone who could play them.

The Dead Kennedys & Joy Division are my favorite bands from the 80s. Nine Inch Nails in the late 80s (1988/1989) is okay too.

I'll be completely killed for this, but 80's hair metal is one of my favorites genres in music.

Aw I like the whole 80's synth style music. Talk Talk are just the best band though.

Hehe yeah. Most pop bands now are just in it for the money and the fame, not the music.

i also liked the 80's pop and it really pisses me of that people are now just covering all the good 80's pop tracks. it has totaly wasted the songs for me now...

My parents like Duran Duran. I didn't even know what they sang until this year and was surprised to find that they sang that "Come Undone" song. My mom found all her old cassettes the other day and was playing "Come Undone" really loud... gave me a damn headache. lol
