Linkin Park's Colin Brittain appears in a new video on the official Zildjian channel shot during the band's time in Frankfurt, Germany earlier this year. In the video, Brittain speaks about Linkin Park's writing process with regard to drums, the differences between studio and tour setups, and the various cymbals used in the live kit. Zildjian is, of course, an Massachusetts-based instrument manufacturer - originally founded in Turkey back in the year 1623 - whose cymbals have long been used in Linkin Park's drum kits. Zildjian cymbals became a key part of Rob Bourdon's sonic palette during the recording of Meteora; even with his departure from the band, Linkin Park continues to use them as a component of their signature sound.
