Chicago alternative rock station Q101 has premiered an interview with Linkin Park member Emily Armstrong. Armstrong spoke remotely to Q101 midday host Lauren O'Neil, covering topics including her history as a musician, her relationship to Linkin Park's music, and the experience of becoming a vital part of the band's dramatic return. The interview marks the first solo media appearance Armstrong has made as an official member of Linkin Park, and comes ahead of a new single due to premiere on March 27. The band has long been supported at Q101, and the station will be exclusively presenting the show in Chicago happening in August later this year.
