I have this crappy version was was wondering if its just like a sample of the real song or some other crappy song and just give me some details and stuff.
I dont know what interlude means so I'm gonna say its a sample of a 3minute version (i think) Because I've heard a 3 minute version but have the 30second version on my PC. I think its a sample because on media player it has (short) in brackets next to the song
An interlude is a break. In music it's just like a short piece of music to help break up the CD. Like 'hard song, hard song, hard song, break, more music'. Maybe there is a long version but I think they probably had "Technique (Long Version)" &"Technique (Short Version)". scrapped the long version and never changed the name to the other.
Lol. The "3 minute" version you're talking about is Part of Me. Technique is an interlude, just like A.06, Session, or Foreward.
going off topic shortly: they make alot of mistakes... like, i noticed, in the booklet for Hybrid Theory, on Crawling, they say "consuming all I feel" when its "these wounds they will not heal"... but back on topic... yea, they make alot of mistakes. they probably did mean part of me... strange though ^.^;;;
thats true. by the time the band had made the lyrical change - the booklets where already being made. thats why theres a mistake hey.... after all LP are only human after all its not a big deal really is it?

not really but it would cause all these people to ask questions that look closely to websites.
Okay, I'll clear a few things up here: The only official release of "Technique" was the 30 second version of the track that was featured on the Hybrid Theory EP. All other versions are fan made loops of the song. The real "long" version of the track has never been officially released.
But do u know if they created a long version...not necessarily released it but just created it?
They obviously had to create a longer one. Think about it: "Technique" is labeled as "(Short)" and it's only 30 seconds long, and the last 10 seconds of it fade into nothingness. It's obvious there was more.
