Am I the only one that's completely loving this band at the moment? I didn't (and still don't to an extent) like their self-titled debut, but "One-X" is a pretty good rock record. It's weird for me, since I'm not the type that usually likes mainstream rock. It's not my favorite genre, you know? But 3DG are pretty good for what they are. "Animal I Have Become" has been in my Top 25 most played on iTunes for a good while now. Anyone else like this band? I'm sure someone does.
I love Three Days Grace. One-X is one of the best recent straight-up rock albums. It's catchy and has edge to it, which seems to be hard for a lot of bands to do these days. It's either one or the other, but not with 3DG.
I absolutely hate Three Days Grace, but I must say that I love "Never Too Late" and "Get Out Alive" from their latest cd.
I just don't feel their songs. Their lyrics are too bland and they bore me to death. haha. I must be missing something because it seems a lot of people like them. *shrugs* I'll give them credit for "Never Too Late" and "Get Out Alive", but that's it.
XD. Uh, I loved the debut and One-X has yet to grow on me. Animal I have Become is damn good, but I'll need to listen to the rest of the album a lot more to see if I can like it.
It's a great album. "Get Out Alive" is one of my favorite songs of the year. The debut was too angsty after a while. There were a couple of ditties on that, like "Scared" and "Take Me Under", but there was alot of filler. The new album has really shown me how average the debut was.
Heard Animal... and Pain (acoustic) on their myspace and it sounds great. downloading the rest of ONE-X now. I've heard of them before, but never actually listened to them.
I think they need to take the first half of their S/T and the second half on One-X and make that into one album...that would be amazing there.
Three Days Grace used to be one of my favorite bands. After a while, I grew out of alternative rock for the most part and started hating most of the songs on their self-titled. But One-X is a great straight-up rock record. "Animal I Have Become" is catchy as all hell and the riffs are awesome. I love playing it on my guitar.
