Tonight Linkin Park will play the first of two remaining Asia shows in Bangkok, Thailand at Aktive Square. This will be the third show of the band's career in Bangkok with the first two coming in 2004 and 2007 at the same venue. After tonight's show they will travel to Singapore where the band will play at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix (Sept. 25) to close out this current Asia tour leg. Then, after taking a few weeks off, Linkin Park will play their last scheduled show of 2011 in Pensacola, Florida, USA (Oct. 16) where they will close out the DeLuna Festival.

The show tonight comes after the band's performance in Jakarta, Indonesia (Sept. 21). The setlist at that show did not see anything new. Although, it's worth noting that "Blackout" was played again. The song has now been in the setlist for five straight shows. In the past the song has been played on an inconsistent basis so seeing this current streak is quite surprising. Other than "Blackout", however, the band has had the same twenty or so staple songs that have been played every night as of late. Though with those songs they have mixed up their order multiple times. On this tour we have seen the encore open with "Wisdom, Justice, and Love" and "Iridescent", "Empty Spaces" and "When They Come for Me", and "Fallout" and "The Catalyst." Also, songs including "Papercut", "One Step Closer", "Crawling", "In the End", "Bleed it Out", "Shadow of the Day", "What I've Done", and "New Divide" have been in and out of the encore part of the show.

Is anyone going to the show tonight? If you are and would like to update the setlist for us, be sure to comment in our forums or tweet us @lpassociation.

Setlist (confirmed by LPTimes and their source AmmieTheStrange, with additional info from potelpcatalyst):

    01. The Requiem
    02. Papercut
    03. Lying From You
    04. Given Up
    05. What I've Done
    06. Empty Spaces*
    07. When They Come For Me
    08. No More Sorrow
    09. Jornada Del Muerto
    10. Waiting For The End
    11. Burning In The Skies
    12. Numb (Oppenheimer Outro)
    13. Breaking The Habit
    14. Fallout (shortened for time)
    15. The Catalyst
    16. Crawling
    17. Faint
    18. One Step Closer

    ENCORE:
    19. Wisdom, Justice & Love
    20. Iridescent
    21. New Divide**
    22. In The End
    23. Bleed It Out

*Despite earlier reports that Empty Spaces was skipped, this now appears to not be the case. According to @potelpcatalyst on twitter, apparently there were some technical issues during Empty Spaces, and these technical issues gave off the appearance that Empty Spaces was dropped when it was not. Brad still did his part on megaphone.

**Again, according to @potelpcatalyst on twitter, Blackout was dropped from the setlist. This is possibly due to the fact that the show started late, and because of the fact that Dave was not performing tonight due to illness which means his synthesizer part couldn't be played. It appears bass/guitar tech Ted took his place off stage for the songs that WERE played. Get well Dave!

It's currently 10:25PM over there and some tweets suggest that the band hasn't taken the stage yet. Looks like it's going to be a late concert tonight.

Even more bizarre, Dave isn't playing tonight. That's the first time since 2000 isn't it?.

Nah, they likely have a bass tech in his place. It's what they did for Chester when he broke his arm in 2007. His guitar tech played his part during SOTD. Most guitar/bass techs are required to learn the songs as they need to make sure the guitars are in tune for certain songs, especially for Dave who (as evidenced by Live In Texas) can use several different basses during a performance. They might not do the same fills/style that Dave does but it'll at least sound good.

I figure it should be worth noting, even though this has happened all tour, that A Place For My Head was performed with Bleed It Out, after watching a recent video uploaded today.
